My Search for Safe and Affordable Hair Extensions
by
Ms. Tiffany
When I first
became fascinated with the idea of hair extensions I wasn't sure where
to begin. Fortunately, I am a Minneapolis girl where the method of popular
choice is pinch-braids, a fairly safe way to wear hair extensions with
minimal damage to the natural hair. This, though, required much cash every
few months for more hair extensions, and appointments-very long appointments.
When I could no longer justify the interest I was paying
on my hair, when the guilt of having long, very expensive-although beautiful-hair,
was too great to bear, I gave the hair extensions up. It certainly wasn't
long before I found myself missing my long, beautiful tresses.
My solution became to find a do-it-yourself method I could
do at home with little cost. Unfortunately, after searching out available
methods, I became discouraged. I came across many photos of hair damaged
by glue or fusion-type extensions. The girls photographed were missing
chunks of hair and boasted broken, uneven ends, as if to save any bit
of length they once had. I began to wonder if an affordable, safe, do-it-yourself
process was possible when it seems a very good reason for most methods
to be applied, and maintained, by a professional. I cringe at the thought
of using these glues and fusion myself and doing something awful to my
hair just to gain the length and fullness I so need and desire.
I began to experiment with attaching extension hair strand-by-strand
as this was the style many celebrities chose for their extension hair.
I knew, to accomplish my desires, I must find something safe and non-damaging,
inexpensive, fairly uncomplicated, and easy to get out. Easy to remove
was a big one for me. My daughter was wearing wefts at this point and
the glue that stuck in, and ripped out, her hair, horrified me beyond
belief.
I came up with what is known today as TemBond and
I am thrilled. The TemBond for strand-by-strand hair extensions
far exceeds my expectations. This patent pending hair extension product
is made from ingredients which are chemical-free, non-toxic, natural or
safe for skin contact. There carries no need for harsh chemical removers
or tools that could harm the natural hair or risk damage to both the hair
and skin. The removal process is quick, easy, and completely non-damaging!
The TemBond carries a secure hold and easily allows
for months of wear and reuse of the extension hair, saving my investment.
Fortunate to my mission, unexpected attributes from the TemBond
began to emerge. The bonds are somewhat flexible, due to its waxy base,
and allow for immediate comfort, almost unheard of in hair extension wear.
The bonds are small, hidden and suited for all hair types. Removal is
a snap and TemBond wearers are experiencing natural hair growth
while wearing their hair extensions, a triumphant honor for this world-adored
beauty process.
Personally, I couldn't be more thrilled with what resulted
in my search for safe and affordable hair extensions I can apply myself.
The TemBond makes it very easy for the end user desiring to wear
safe and affordable hair extensions-a simple, guided application, no damage
or risk of reaction with the use of chemicals, comfortable, inexpensive
wear and quick, non-damaging removal! Truly wonderful!
